The ridiculous "investigation" with Mizzou also went on from 1988 until the summer of 1990 and beyond back in the day. Like almost three years. Killed recruiting except for some brilliant work by Rich Daly to find Melvin Booker Reggie Smith Jeff Warren and others. I do agree with Vitale that these things need to end after two years, ku or or not.
