including a couple of single digit win years and had 1 winning conference record in the last 9 they would still be filling up AFH?

I don't disagree that the economy is going to make it more difficult in the near future. But the bottom line is if you consistently win enough games fans are going to show up for your games. To make that happen you have to play the NIL game now. If that means some facility upgrades suffer a little so be it. You don't need any of that other stuff anyway if you don't win enough games.
