I feel it is more sustainable for MU hoops because there simply aren’t as many mouths to feed. More worried about MU football which has way more demand for donors’ money for coaches, facilities, scholarships and now NIL dollars. Kind of expect the facilities to take the biggest hit as donors prioritize NIL dollars over donations for facilities. In the near to intermediate term, MU should be okay with facilities. Not as optimistic in the long term. I don’t expect much of a rebound in fan attendance dollars (which will affect TSF dollars) as the economy is likely to be weak for at least the next 2 seasons and maybe 1 or 2 seasons after that. Baseball needs a stadium but I don’t see it happening any time soon. Between inflationary pressures, cost and priority given to other sports, I think they are screwed. Bottom line, I see no catalyst for MU’s budget moving up in the SEC hierarchy.
