They recruit everywhere there are players. There are players in MO---not so much in central ks. Notre Dame & Stanford are going to be here anyway---why give kstate a leg up w/ our SEC exposure? They chose to side with TX, remember? (This is why we should NEVER EVER play ku, btw. Why give that hapless program a lifeline of any kind?)
USC isn't going to lose much by losing to us. That isn't in our recruiting footprint anyway. That would be a huge draw in Columbia--BC/ksu...meh--unless you want to see the Silo Tech crowd once again, which I do not.
This isn't about anybody's obligation to play, but at least try to find a mutually beneficial match-up.
