Yeah, at some point you have to schedule games. I agree MU ideally is not scheduling BC or UMass but kstate is at least fan friendly travel, if you want to drive over. ku and IL don’t do much for the program, per se, but they are good events for fans who like those bragging rights, playing rivals and ease of travel. We are going to recruit against them (& kstate) whether we play them or not. If MU can’t beat them regularly then they aren’t going to do well in in the SEC anyway.
Group of 5 games should be in recruiting areas. UMass is a horrible game. I would hope it was scheduled because there was no other opponent available. Otherwise, horrible move.
