Mizzou had little to nothing to gain by going to BC last year. The little to gain would only come with a MU blow out of BC. Nothing to gain would come from a close win. A lot to lose would come with any thing else, and that's what happened.
This week BC Football is handing out offers in St. Louis. This is what happens when you make dumb scheduling decisions. Had MU won, would our staff be burning up the New England recruiting trails? Nope.
That brings us to the recruiting hot-bed of central KS. Short of blowing out kstate (which isn't going to happen), there is only downside to this one. If USC is looking, if Notre Dame is looking, if Stanford is looking---give them a game. Nobody even wants to see BC or kstate in the return visit, but we're just inviting them into the homes of Missouri hs football players.
For almost 2 hapless decades, we didn't take kstate seriously, and I can't believe that most Mizzou faithful believe this time will be different.
