that's the Alden/Pinkel philosophy. Unfortunately, more often than we should we manage to lose one of those games. Wyoming was supposed to be a guaranteed win. So was New Mexico, Troy, Bowling Green x 2, MTSU...We're we lucky Louisiana was taken off our schedule in 2020, they went 10-1 that year.
We should strive to play good teams, and win/lose but compete, not pad the schedule and tell the fans what a great job we're doing.
