1. When it doesn't work out, it ruins the legacy of the player. I'd rather just avoid hiring them unless they have proven success (Kim does not - 14-16 in one year as head coach).
2. We just paid 6 million to dump our old coach. We should throw BIG money at a more experienced coach...force Altman to turn us down...go after some of the hot candidates with big money. And if we can't afford to do that and thus, need to shop the bargain bin, we shouldn't have paid Martin's huge buyout, but rather, waited another year to get rid of him.
