There is no way to extrapolate to English.

I would also counter with the fact that the best coach in our history was signed because he was a true son. We have hired the best and worst coaches in our history because if their connections to the program.

Kim's connections to Mizzou should definitely factor into the equation. They should not be the deciding factor.
