players. One of them, Mississippi, is in second to last place. Alabama has four and is sitting in the middle of the league. UK has six and is still looking up at Auburn in the standings, which has only two top 50 guys.

Arkansas has zero.

Recruiting rankings matter and you need good players, but the correlation between top 50 guys and winning isn't nearly as strong as you think.
