then there is no reason to discuss basketball with you. There are dozens of players every year who have NBA measurables but never developed the basketball skills needed to make it in the NBA. A quality coach knows what those skills are, how to teach them and what it takes to push a player to develop them.

Marshall was a complete dick while at WSU, there is very little doubt about that. The question is did he learn his lesson? Some do, some don't.

Bobby Knight got a second chance and never changed his dickish behavior. It wore thin pretty quickly at Tx Tech.

Mike Leach got that second chance and seems to be doing just fine now.

Does Mizzou want to take a chance on a proven winner or are we going to hope another mediocre coach suddenly blossoms?

For the record, I think Marshall would be a fine hire but there are others that would be just as good. Almost anything would be an upgrade over what we have now.
