No one here has given a reasoned framework for refuting it using libertarian principles.
Rothbard is a well known libertarian and libertarian sites have his assertions on their web pages, and his book presumably sells pretty well in libertarian circles.
It looks to me as though following the libertarin principles to their "logical conclusions" would result in assertions along the lines of those espoused by Rothbard, and presumably by pickle, given that he has copied and pasted them on here multiple times.
This would be a good time for a self-professed libertarian to logically spell out where they think Rothbard went of the rails here and how a true reading of libertarian principles would come to a significantly different conclusion than Rothbard has.
