regressive or not. Do you know what else is regressive? EVERYTHING! Should the poor pay the same for an iPhone or a pair of Jordans? They sure as hell do and I don't see those paragons of progressivism giving their products away for reduced prices. Why should government services be any different?

The poor are much more likely to use government services, why should they not help pay for them? Everyone should have skin in the game.

Have you ever noticed how your children treat things given to them differently than those they are forced to work for? That is human nature.
