I'm not hypersensitive about it. You keep posting essentially the same things again and again. Just admit you like to stir things up. It doesn't encourage ongoing discussion since the way you post makes people react hard on one side or another.

Odom is history now. I supported Odom as long as I could. You can see from my post above that while he didn't meet the level necessary to keep his job, I think he worked hard and did a lot of good, especially during the first couple of years during a very challenging time. He's a loyal guy. I don't like the black and white characterizations about another human being and your posts spur that on and bring out the worst from people.If you really care about him as a person and believe in him, then maybe consider slowing that kind of roll.

It's fair now to discuss and criticize what Drink is doing and how he is doing it, and yes, I think the jury's still out. The problem in major college football is that when you rebuild a program, the result may not truly be seen for 3 or 4 years. I extended that grace to Barry Odom in the hopes that it would work out. I'm not sorry I did, even though it didn't work out. I'm doing the same with Drink and based on the rankings, he's upgraded our recruiting, but that will be confirmed in the future. Not only that, as you know, there are many other attributes to a successful coach and his program build. I'm rooting for Drink the same way I rooted for Odom.
