he was put in a tough spot (replacing a legend, dealing with lingering fallout from the racial shenanigans, relatively bare cupboard in terms of incoming talent, turnover amongst all the assistants, etc.) but kept the program respectable and put us in a position to bring in a new coach with relatively little disruption. he even found a few under-the-radar guys who turned into legitimate stars and left a few for the next guy. sure i wish he didn't poach a few of his guys and take them to arkansas with him but it's a competitive business and he's gotta do what's best for him. i get it.
