Why do you keep doing this?

Odom’s gone. In the end, we figured out he didn’t recruit well enough, coach well enough or develop well enough to keep his job, and the trends were getting slightly worse, not better. He found good players, just not enough. He is a good guy, was a loyal Missouri guy and got enough time in the job for us to have a fair assessment of him. He’s a good defensive coordinator, and that may end up being his highest and best position. He’s going to retire one day a multi-millionaire having had a very nice career. I hold no animosity towards him. I hope he does well but not against us. I’m much more concerned about how our present coach does his job, how we finish the season and how we plug roster holes and upgrade our level of play going forward.
