made it unlawful for him to posses a firearm under federal law (and maybe wisconsin law).

subsequently he was arrested for DUI (OWI in their terminology) while being armed.

apparently it was illegal in Wisconsin to be armed while intoxicated and it was discovered at that time he was a felon.

i don't ever see where he was or was not charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and I think his felony burglary might have been expunged later but i'm not positive of that.
