It's nothing like a guy who murders his parents. What a terrible comparison.
I know he doesn't have any good will from you. That wasn't my argument.
My point is that he can tell his boss (or his former boss, in this case), "Chemistry was bad on last year's team because of *insert athlete names here*. So I've brought in a new group that I think will gel together much better." It could be an excuse for the late season struggles. I don't know CM. I don't know if he would even have that conversation. But often times, big changes cause hope. It's possible that some look at it as a fresh start; that's all.
