sell their children to anyone, including child abusers, kiddie porn or even snuff film producers.

In pickletopia they would have a legal right to do so. Of course you and pickle et al would say that they don't have moral right to do so. Of course that isn't going to dissuade some heroin addict from doing so to get a fix.
