In CM's first season he had Kass, Jontay, Barnett, Puryear, Tilmon and Geist. That was six SEC level players from day one. The rebuild was already finished. If you are talking about changing the culture that is 100% on the coach. But I have never heard of any of Kim's holdovers being anything but team players.
Normally it would take time to overcome what Kim had wrought but normally the incoming coach does not land three top 50 players in his initial class as well as an all-league level transfer. The other thing working in CM's favor was that Kim had only been here three years he had not been here long enough to crater the program. At that point players and fans will remembered Haith and his winning the B12 tourney on the way out the door.
Your hyperbole about what Kim did to this program is completely over the top. When CM took over this program was only three years removed from a run of six straight 20 win seasons.
