a 17 year old who should have still been in high school that started 7 games at MU and avged less than 10 ppg, his older brother who effectively never played for us other than to wreck our SEC tourney and NCAA tourney games, and Tilmon. Yes he considerably under-developed and largely wasted Tilmon's college career but the rest of that class was not tangible to translate into on the court results. I'm still of the opinion that Blake Harris would have made a considerable difference had we not mismanaged him and he transferred, but I'm in the very small minority and certainly nothing he has done since leaving MU indicates that was a big loss.
From a program building perspective, he landed Tilmon. Who had originally committed to Illinois but reconsidered when their head coach was fired and MU hired someone from his hometown. And then we spent 4 years not using him as a center and not developing him for the college level.
