that CM did not stand a chance. He was given a huge boon that first year coaches trying to resuscitate moribund programs never get, a top five recruiting class.

If CM had any competence in building a roster we would be just fine now. But he followed up that massive gift with two classes around fifty, one in the upper one hundreds and another in the forties. CM took over a shīt show, was thrown a golden life preserver and quickly turned it back into a shīt show.
