To bond, not to break records. This person either has no kids or they go to a really small, crappy HS. The vast majority of kids who play at the HS level are very competitive and are shooting for some level of college participation as well.

Many obviously don’t make it but it’s not because they are out there for the postgame snacks and juice boxes.
