Most people would agree that a lot of businesses would likely have been lost due to this, and a structural change would occur. Government intervention caused more problems. More damages than needed, and trillions in wasted spending that really did not help that much other than putting a lot more money in the hands of the super rich. It also further fosters the environment that government will continue to "save businesses", ensuring that they will put themselves back in the same position in the future.
