How much profit will Kroger make from the stores it closed this year?

Answer: $0.

If your stance is that (a) Kroger is motivated by profit to the point of greed, and (b) Kroger *could* have afforded to pay their workers more and still turn a profit on those stores, then why did Kroger decide to close the stores and lose the profit, rather than increase their expenses, potentially their prices, pay their folks more and at least take some profit?
