during forced government lockdowns. It's a diversion for the lack of legitimate reasoning behind another liberal policy. If it were statistically unsafe to work there, they wouldn't be allowed to open at all. And as far "essential," why is Kroger allowed to close? Are people going to starve to death if they close? Kroger made a business decision that other businesses should be applauding. There is not justification for "hero pay" when that hero pay is awarded for something that is far down the list of things that could kill the worker in the course of his/her day.
