freedom of individual choice. A lot of people will generally do the right thing and respect/help their neighbors.
Forced collectivism is the elite/ruling class living the good life while controlling the population by dumbing them down, regulating their thoughts and actions, and controlling their means to the truth, food, healthcare, etc. It's basically equivalent to religious propaganda.
