or so I'm told.
I don't know if teachers were like this when I was in school (doubtful--most of them were parents, where now there's a huge glut of childless party hounds in the public school system), but social media tells us that the teachers cry for snow days more than the students do. It's no longer a profession you look to for examples of "professionals."
