Yes, one of the challenges is that the most vulnerable also often need care from other humans. And those humans, as you unfortunately experienced, can be the source.

Yes, the reality is that we all suffer from a terminal condition. Life. But that is a difficult way to lose a loved one. Sorry you had to experience two losses from this.
