that goes a long way if you have control. Both need to really excel at several different pitches though to be really elite.
I like Weber a lot too, both from last spring and this fall. She showed good control and will battle hitters. But Schumacher and Krings have the stuff to just blow hitters away when they are on.
One thing I like about our 5 pitchers, none of them are very much alike, they all bring a slightly different set of skills, pitches, velocity, which is a good thing. Even the best pitchers can get figured out by batters the second or third time through the lineup, so it’s nice we have the ability to throw different looks at offenses in a game.
