We will never see Rollin at SS in a competitive game the rest of her career. Maybe 2B, where she is so much a better hitter than the other candidates that her defensive shortcomings might be tolerated. But not SS. Coach LA prizes having a great defense. She saw enough last year. Unless Rollins defense has drastically improved. My philosophy is you can take an average hitter and coach them up to be a very good hitter. Not so much with defense. You have it or you don’t.
