There were not impermissable benefits galore, there was an internship program vetted through our compliance department whose curriculum didn't pass muster from the NCAA. The players who participated, all who already has signed with MU and were part of the program, were paid the same amount as any non-player in the internship. It had nothing to do with Frank Haith, and continued as a practice after Haith left because it wasn't known there was anything improper going on.
There was no violations involved in the Gant's relocation, and the self reported violation by MU was removed from the final report by the NCAA. When Gant moved to Columbia, his mother attempted to move with him and secure employment but was forced to move back to Georgia shortly thereafter because were too strict about her working for anyone who could be construed as a booster.
Haith/Fuller had no knowledge or involvement of the Tan Tara booster providing boat rides to current players, which was demonstrated and hence classified as a low level violation because it was simply a failure by the compliance department and had nothing to do with the coaching staff.
Hopefully that makes you feel better about the program you support, to learn that none of your unfounded accusations or suppositions have merit. MU was very clean during the era of Frank Haith. In fact MU conducted a multiyear investigation with the sole purpose to slander Frank Haith and was not able to come up with any tangible accusations of impropriety. If there had been something, anything, it certainly would have been used against him.
