to say the least.

He was a big Obama and Hillary supporter. He also claimed in 2016 that Trump was going to face a deadly virus during his time in office.

Throughout that time he was funding China's P4 virus lab to perform experiments on bat coronaviruses & paid another 3.7 million on "gain of function" research on those viruses (eg. increased deadliness &/or contagiousness).

Then, when the virus started rampaging through China he assured everyone in the US that it was nothing to worry about here.

When the Trump administration wanted to lock down travel from China as the deadly contagion spread Fauci vehemently opposed the lockdown that undoubtedly delayed the spread to the US and save thousands of lives.
