I've been following the situation in south Texas. There is a lot of concern that the number of cases will overtax the medical communities to be able to handle them. It's not there yet but the number of new cases is not abating. So even though there are spare beds now, there may not be in a couple of weeks. Perhaps the article was not the best example because it was highlighting a situation on the cusp of developing rather than a disaster in full development. But since there is almost no mitigation at this point that could change quickly.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
