Your comment, "Yes, slavery was the issue that caused the war. To say otherwise is ignorance, stupidity and lies." just justifies the invasion of the south. Like WMDs, they blew up our ship or my favorite, We have to contain communism.
I said they seceded because of Slavery or the threat of losing it. To be honest, the economic impacts of it, but they were racist as was the north. But did that start the war?
Hell one could argue that it wasn't even a War, it was more of a squelching of an Armed rebellion since the USA didn't recognize the CSA.
