I don't disagree...and I see your point in all of this. I just think so many people are so caught up in themselves that they don't think about how others perceive their words or actions. Should people be required to think that..not at all, as you then get into all the stupid virtue signaling...but if someone were to tell me something were a racist term (and even though I did not agree with them), I would consider not using it, especially in a times where sensitivities were heightened. Just my thoughts.
