First - the Bible is Literature. Second many of teachings within it are roundly ignored or "selectively applies" b American Fundamentalists as a matter of course.

I have no idea the "pagans" you reference.

Funny thing about that though is that "Orthodox Christianity" long ago absconded with the term "pagan" to mean anything that is not them. I get a kick out of that as God usually does not head a closed club.
