you wouldn't die. it might hurt and I could probably get you to pass out if i hit your carotid just right but it would be very unlikely to kill you. But unfortunately for everyone most of all Floyd, of course, it might have been the perfect storm of events.

and I've already said the officer's actions with the knee anywhere near his neck were not only stupid but constituted excessive force and an assault. what I also said early on is that while it was an assault I wasn't so sure that it's what killed him. I said it was probably going to be cardiopulmonary arrest from drugs. And I think the ME's prelim findings still have left that question a bit murky IMO.

did you miss the part where before P.O. Chauvin even got there Floyd was saying he couldn't breathe?

did you miss the 911 caller telling the operator that Floyd was drunk, awfully drunk, drunk or on something, and not acting right x2?

btw, I think this is also negligent behavior by the officers b/c if someone is having some sort of medical distress just get them an ambulance from the get-go and put the liability on the EMS crew. too easy.

so im by NO means absolving the officer/s of any wrongdoing i'm just saying i don't know that P.O. Chauvin killed him. gonna be interesting but there's no way he gets a fair trial and it will be interesting to see if the DA accepts a plea and will people riot if he does?
