2. While it is a fact that IL and NY are in serious debt, so are LA, AL, TX and a host of other states dominated by Republican legislators or governors. Meat's point, as I understand it, is that you posted your question to Democrats and left-leaning states in debt while ignoring Republicans and right-leaning states in debt. Perhaps the oversight was accidental, but if intentional, Meatiger's point was that it seems to indicate dishonesty.
