emphasize the midrange game anymore. Listen I'm not saying the three point shot should be abandoned by all. It clearly shouldn't. What I'm saying is not every player should be focusing on it. Many players would be much more productive by perfecting other shots. Doing so would be a benefit to their teams success. But we've gotten to the point where everyone wants to be a three point shooter and coaches allow it to happen. It doesn't make for good basketball and it's not that enjoyable to watch, especially teams that don't shoot it very well.
