Take Mitchell Smith for example. If he could make 10-15 footers consistently he'd be much more valuable than he is taking 2.3 three pointers a game and making 0.7 of them. But he was told and allowed to try to be a three point shooter because he would be unstoppable if he could do that. And here he is as a college junior playing 22 mins a game on a team that desperately needs scoring and he's averaging 5 points a game.
