Why would one - speaking of your post - want of need to "conquer sin" or death for that matter. Death is part of the life cycle. It is a fine thing. ALL material life dies. Why would it not? Why in the world would you seek to "conquer that" ? It brings to mind the astoundingly egomaniacal element to that tradition. This ego that finds itself so vital and important and better than every other being. Not for me no thank.
Krishna tells Arjuna in the Song of God, that all things that are will always be. I need no more reassurance than that, that the soul and BEING of which I am but an expression is eternal.
If you want resurrection you might want to prove the resurrection. Again the idea is born of a fragile and desperate ego that fails to accept GOD'S world in which material are born and die. "Black dirt and live again" as the great tune Weather Report Suite has it. It is all good. All God.
