I'm pretty happy someone died for me.

Not a normally used term but doesn't even bother me at all. Actually heard it before.

There are a lot of people who have bad theology. What makes them a Christian is the essentials:
Yer a sinner
You can't save yourself
Jesus died for you
You trust him
You do your best to follow Him NOT as a duty but because you are so thankful you would do anything to please Him
