But it won’t take a war to bounce back like WWII. We will see tectonic shifts in policy toward socialism. We may get universal healthcare out of this and a nationalized housing market. Possibly nationalized banks and other industries, too, that can’t fail without us devolving into chaos. We will see trillion dollar jobs and infrastructure programs. White collar people will switch to lunch pail jobs. We’ll be faced with this or the abyss. Globally there will be a depression that will dwarf the first one.
