Suspending mortgage payments temporarily will help homeowners, but eventually they'll have to start paying again. If people lost their jobs and can't immediately get new ones, then the temporary halt on foreclosures won't necessarily help.

And even if people can't be evicted right now, they still are expected to pay rent. And if they can't right now, they'll still be on the hook eventually. So there will be plenty of people who get evicted eventually. Probably will be some landlords who force people out as soon as they legally can.
