Trump is a meddler, he has meddled in coronavirus policy and actions. If he seeks to end social distancing, etc. too early, etc., he will be vulnerable to attacks that his meddling made public health policy less effective.
Trying to bring back the economy quickly is very popular with 1%ers. If he does that and the public health problem gets worse, he becomes vulnerable to charges he was seeking only to benefit his friends in business, banking, Wall Street, the 1%ers.
All I'm suggesting is that it is a potential winning strategy for the Democrats, if Trump continues to meddle and not follow the public policy recommendations of his health care advisors, etc.
In politics, the purpose of any election strategy is solely to win. As someone once said, you can do a da_n thing if you don't win the election.
