A winning strategy for the Democrats

Assumption: Trump will persist with his efforts to reopen the economy asap in spite of receiving medical advice to go slower and this premature reopening will lead to a spike up in Coronavirus cases and deaths.

Steps:

1. Allow Trump to reopen the economy as soon as he wants, i.e. by Easter.

2. Substitute Andrew Cuomo for Joe Biden as their presidential candidate.

3. Nominate Gavin Newson as their vice presidential candidate.

4. Run on a campaign theme that Trump put money, Wall Street, and the interests of the rich ahead of the health of the common man and average citizens. Hammer that theme home at every opportunity. I.e. if the economy shows strength respond with ads saying "yes, but it was bought with human lives. Hammer the theme "human lives, not $$$".

5. As a ancillary theme assert that Trump did not follow the best medical advice from the very start of the outbreak and that made it worse. Again because he put $$$ ahead of human lives.

6. In a subtle or perhaps not so way emphasize all of Trumps' personal traits, habits and conduct that so many suburban women find unattractive.

7. Prepare to celebrate a generation of Democratic Presidents and Congresses.
