businesses to make decisions that hurt workers. Not pork. Not pet projects. It must help businesses stay focused on moving forward. I was not in favor of huge benefits based on self-inflicted wounds like the housing crisis during the end of the Bush presidency. We did that to ourselves. I do believe there is a role for government in times of unforeseen crisis to eliminate impediments to providing help. This is a global crisis. This is not self-inflicted. This is a time government can be part of a solution.
