I went to the one against NC State for my 18th birthday in 1983 not having any idea they would win the national championship just a few months later. Looking back at the schedule, we also played North Carolina, Oregon State, Washington, Arizona State, Dayton, Marquette and Virginia. Lost in the first round of the NCAAs, but still, man I miss being good. 24-8 record and beat the beeks both games.
