In that half no one ever even tried to drive on anyone else. Apparently it just wasn't done, I guess on any team. I had forgotten that. The offense, on both sides, was very simplistic compared to what any team does today.
No wonder there were hardly any fouls, or TO's. There was almost no contact relatively. Defense hung back. There was not one inside, one on one move to the basket. The whole game was simple pass until someone has a decent shot and then take it.
So, have rules and reffing changed at all to work for a clearly VERY changed game? Hell no. Of course not.
